I am a keen amateur astronomer and I have tried the others and they don't suit the needs of an astronomer. That is why I created the Astronomy Flashlight. The features that make Astronomy Flashlight unique are: * All the interface and settings are red * Adjustable brightness level so you only use the amount of light you need. * A toggle on the main screen to disable sleep * Tap the screen to turn it on and off, without having to lock the device * All features and settings on a single flashlight screen * Can be operated by somebody using gloves All the above features mean you can operate the Astronomy Flashlight, configure it, turn it on and off and prevent it from sleeping your device all without destroying your dark adapted vision. Remember the device unlock screen is white!! It may not look like much, but it does its job perfectly and is a fraction of the price of a red flashlight / red torch. Please only buy this if you are an astronomer and you understand the value of maintaining dark adapted vision and operation with gloves in the cold.
